Baltimore Yoga Studies invites you to our Introduction to Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga workshop.
This workshop is designed to familiarize students with the Ashtanga yoga method and its fundamental postures. The price of the workshop also includes two weeks (the following Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through October 4th) in a room with our daily Mysore group. You will gain the confidence to continue your practice with our supportive community of students in the Baltimore Yoga Studies room and begin to experience the benefits of a consistent yoga practice.
This workshop is perfect for students who are new to yoga, seeking more individual attention, looking to refine their regular yoga practice further, athletes looking to support their sport better, or those just curious about a Mysore-style practice. Previous experience with Ashtanga is NOT REQUIRED!
About Ben
Ben Culver has been practicing and teaching yoga for almost a decade. He maintains a daily Ashtanga practice and studied at the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute with Saraswati Jois for two months during the summer of 2017. He has also studied and practiced with many experienced teachers, including Mati Guerra, Vance Selover, David Garrigues, Kino MacGregor, and Christine Hoar. The practice means a lot to him, and he feel fortunate to have the opportunity to share it with others.
