At Baltimore Yoga Studies, we believe yoga is a mental and spiritual practice.
It is a practice that offers its practitioners the tools to build a better world.

The Teachers
Justin Timothy Temple
Justin Timothy Temple was instantly drawn to yoga after being pulled, hooting and hollering, into his first class at the bidding of his friends just shy of 20 years ago. Ever since, he has devoted countless hours, energy, and keystrokes on Google to the study of yoga. Justin strives to increase awareness, education, and inclusive access to the practice. He teaches yoga in the same way that he has learned it–by applying yoga techniques to each student as an individual and then providing them the space to explore. His goal for every student is for them to love their practice.
While having had the opportunity to study with many senior teachers in the direct lineage of Ashtanga yoga, Justin currently cites Aimee Echo, Jen René, and David Keil as his primary sources of information on the practice.
Ben Culver
Ben Culver has been practicing and teaching yoga for almost a decade. He maintains a daily Ashtanga practice and studied at the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute with Saraswati Jois for two months during the summer of 2017. He has also studied and practiced with many experienced teachers, including Mati Guerra, Vance Selover, David Garrigues, Kino MacGregor, and Christine Hoar. The practice means a lot to him, and he feel fortunate to have the opportunity to share it with others.
