Mysore-style Ashtanga yoga

Mondays: 6:00 - 8:00 am

Wednesdays: 6:00 - 10:00 am

Fridays: 6:00 - 8:00 am

Saturdays: 8:00 - 10:00 am

Led Primary Series

The first Sunday of each month: 8:00 - 9:30 am

How to Practice

 

The format for Mysore-style Ashtanga yoga is self-practice in a group setting. If you are new to Baltimore Yoga Studies, you will be taught a few yoga postures at a time in a set order to commit to memory. Depending on how quickly you memorize (and how many poses you would like to practice), Justin and Heather will add more poses to your practice. Learning yoga this way provides an opportunity for your practice to grow in a way that feels sustainable and empowering. 

Are you a visiting student with previous experience in Ashtanga yoga? We look forward to meeting you. Please send us an email up to 24-48 hours before dropping in to let us know when you’d like to stop by.

We encourage you to choose a membership rate that is best for you. Please consider paying more if you can—this helps to provide accessible rates for those who cannot. Your membership allows you to enroll in unlimited Mysore-style yoga classes each month, including our Led Primary Series class, as well as discounts on workshops. Best of all: your Baltimore Yoga Studies membership is a recurring donation to Guardian Baltimore and directly supports its mission of providing free Jiu-Jitsu to the kids throughout the community. Your membership is tax-deductible.
